Jeffrey J. Ciachurski
Position: Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Ciachurski acts as principle executive officer and principal advisor representing the operating and management team to the Board of Directors. He provides executive leadership, strategic planning, corporate policy and execution of the Company's business and financial plan.

Mr. Ciachurski formulated the mission statement, forms corporate structure, appoints and designates senior management personnel, defines geographic areas of responsibility and engages senior independent consultants. He maintains continuous and proactive relationships with leading institutional and retail shareholders, and establishes and maintains close contacts within the investment banking and project financing community.

Mr. Ciachurski originated the initial group of seed investors and completed Western Wind Energy's original prospectus and executed the listing agreement with the Toronto Venture Exchange. He lead the growth of the shareholder base from a small group of original seed shareholders to well over 10,000 public retail and institutional investors.

Mr. Ciachurski directed Western Wind Energy from a concept into an industry recognized, vertically integrated, renewable energy developer, owner and operator. He established the project development pipeline in California, Arizona and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He also acquired, by ownership, over 4,000 acres of prime renewable energy real estate, 25,000 acres of public leases, lead the acquisition of two operating wind energy generation facilities consisting of over 500 wind turbine generators without any project or corporate debt, and the financial completion of over $430 million of new wind and solar construction with two new projects totalling 130.5 MW coming online prior to Q4 2011.

Mr. Ciachurski negotiated and completed Power Purchase Agreements with major utilities, Turbine Supply Agreements with bankable wind turbine vendors, corporate equity placements with leading international investment funds and $300 million in project debt arrangements with major world Triple AAA rated lenders.


 
Kevin Craig, CA
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kevin Craig, C.A. has been Chief Financial Officer of Western Wind Energy Corp. since June 01, 2011. Mr. Craig served as Corporate Finance Manager of Western Wind Energy Corp. Mr. Craig joined Western Wind Energy Corp in 2009. Mr. Craig has experience in strategic, corporate finance, taxation, M&A and regulatory compliance services and has successfully managed Western Wind Energy Corp. through its Windstar and Kingman project financings, contract negotiations and construction activities. Mr. Craig specializes in financial reporting, project financing and modeling, taxation and due diligence. Prior to this Mr. Craig specialized in providing services to public companies in a variety of industries including renewable energy, mining, oil & gas, and manufacturing. Mr. Craig is a Deloitte trained Chartered Accountant. Mr. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University.


 
Chris Thompson
Position: Senior Vice President - Project Finance

Chris Thompson is a KPMG trained chartered accountant. Through his company, TCC Consulting Ltd., he has provided ongoing strategic, corporate finance, M&A, and Canadian, US and UK regulatory compliance consulting services over the last 20 years to a number of public and private companies. He has consulting experience in a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, environmental engineering, real estate, e-gaming, biotech and information technology. Companies Chris has worked closely with include Dow Jones Inc., Spectra Restaurant Group, World Gaming PLC, Ondine Biopharma Inc., the Bailey Group and Stockgroup Information Systems. Additionally, Chris has played a key role in obtaining USD$275 million financing for Western Wind Energy's Windstar project.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and has extensive international experience having lived and worked overseas for a total of 10 years in both Asia and the West Indies.



 
J. Michael Boyd
Position: Executive Vice President of Business Development

Michael Boyd has eight years of experience as the governing board supervisor (and two years as the chairman) of a public entity, Pima County, administering a $1 billion annual budget and having 7,000 employees. Currently, he is also a director with a public entity that has the largest electrical energy procurement in the State of Arizona. In addition, he has been instrumental in developing the resource standard in Arizona. Mike has vast knowledge of the wind energy industry and also acts as a marketing and regulatory affairs consultant for marketing companies.

Mike has assisted Western Wind Energy in acquiring, leasing and zoning real estate suitable for the development of wind farms in Arizona. He has excellent relationships with the state's local and state government departments, Federal Government agencies, and largest utilities such as Arizona Public Service and Tucson Electric.



 
Steve R. Mendoza
Position: Executive Vice President and Chief Engineer

Steve Mendoza, an electrical engineer, brings to the table, 35 years of experience in utility transmission and engineering, design, planning and operations. He was the former Chief Engineer and Deputy Director of Arizona Power Authority. Steve has held senior positions in the Salt River Project and Arizona Public Service. He has also been responsible for managing a $700-million annual engineering budget. Steve is well-connected with the majority of the utilities in Southwest U.S. and is regarded as a highly respectable transmission engineer. He also plays a key role in shaping the region's planning and transmission policy.


 
T. Alana Steele
Position: General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer

Alana Steele specializes in energy, administrative and regulatory law and has over 15 years experience in the energy industry. She has represented clients such as municipal utilities, electric utilities, wind energy developers and natural gas producers and shippers on matters before federal and state regulatory bodies.

Alana provides legal advice on a wide range of legal issues, including advising management with respect to legal issues related to the development and implementation of its business strategy, governance and compliance policies.



 
Emily Lew, CA
Position: Financial Controller

Emily, a Chartered Accountant, has 9 years of experience in audit, accounting and taxation for both US and Canadian publically traded companies. Most recently she has worked under the Director of Financial Reporting at Mercer International Inc., a US publically traded company, in connection with US regulatory filings, US tax returns and development of new corporate reports.
